Caribbean Partnership

Rotary Partner
Caribbean Partnership is an organization born from the idea of creating alliances between the Rotary Clubs of the US mainland & the Clubs of Districts 7000, 7020, & 7030 (Zones 33-34) representing 25 countries, to develop Rotary relationships that would lead to fellowship which would develop into friendships and doing Rotary’s work together as partners.

In 2015 the term “Twin Club” was enhanced to “Partner Club” which reflects the overall emphasis of the Caribbean Initiative.
Partner Clubs are two clubs that establish strong ties and have agreed to team up to complete special projects such as Community Service Grants, Friendship Exchanges, and Youth Exchanges.
The Partnered Clubs are encouraged to establish an agreement and register with the Rotary Zones 33 & 34.
Caribbean Partnership Inc. is incorporated with bylaws, officers and is an official program of Rotary International Zones 33 and 34.

Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust (CART)

Rotary Partner
The CART Fund is dedicated to raising funds to provide “seed” money for cutting edge, high impact research in hopes of finding a cure/prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.

The goal of the Fund is to encourage exploratory and developmental AD research projects within the United States. This is accomplished by providing financial support for the early and conceptual plans of those projects that may not yet be supported by extensive preliminary data but have the potential to substantially advance biomedical research.

These projects should be distinct from those designed to increase knowledge in a well established area unless they intend to extend previous discoveries toward new directions or applications.

Starting in one SC Rotary club in district 7770 in 1995, CART has been adopted to date by 22 Rotary districts in the United States. Assistance from the American Federation of Aging Research was invaluable in validating CART as a legitimate funding source for Alzheimer’s research.

From the beginning, CART has been a novel fundraising program. Rotarians are encouraged to voluntarily empty their pockets and purses of change, or whatever amount they choose, whenever they attend a Rotary meeting. While the name “CART” stands for “Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust,” we also welcome contributions of currency, checks or credit cards.

Disaster Aid USA

Rotary Partner
Disaster Aid USA (DAUSA) began with one Rotary Club’s Vision to nurture Rotary’s Dream of a world absent of pain and suffering by providing humanitarian aid when domestic disasters strike. DAUSA is a Rotary project, and it is open to all U. S. Rotary Districts, their clubs and their members.

DAUSA goal is to build a significant humanitarian aid organization that provides immediate relief to those victims when disasters strike.

DAUSA is not a First Responder. Its role is “Mucking and Gutting”, tarping roofs, chain-sawing, debris removal, helping prep meals, cooking, etc. DAUSA prides itself on being transparent, accountable with the objects of Rotary as its Foundation. And we as Rotarians can deliver humanitarian aid effectively to world’s best practice with Rotary’s values seen for these actions on the world’s stage. With this vision in place this American Rotary Club project has evolved.
DAUSA focuses on rebuilding communities by assessing their needs. Securing and delivering the aid by its Disaster Aid Response Teams (DARTs), while working with the people suffering from the effects caused by the disaster.

DAUSA is a 501-c-3 registered charity incorporated in Washington, D.C on June 12, 2010 (The capital of the United States). DAUSA is primarily partnered and supported by Rotarians and Rotary Clubs. However we welcome supports from non-Rotarians, businesses, community and church groups throughout the United States.

The board is made up of officers & directors (all Rotarians); and there are maximum 20 advisors,1/3 of the advisors can be non-Rotarians.

Rise Against Hunger

Rotary Partner
Rise Against Hunger, formerly Stop Hunger Now, is an international hunger relief organization that coordinates the distribution of food and other life-saving aid around the world.

Rise Against Hunger is driven by a vision of a world without hunger and a mission to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-saving aid to the world's most vulnerable and by creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.

Rise Against Hunger created its meal packaging program in 2005. The program perfected the assembly process that combines rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and minerals into meal packets. The food stores easily, has a shelf-life of two years and transports quickly.

Rise Against Hunger works with international partners that ship and distribute the meals in-country. Due to the ease of assembly and transport, meals can be shipped to areas in crisis.

The Rotary Foundation

Rotary Partner
During the past 100 years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.

The mission of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

Your donation makes a difference to those who need our help most. More than 90 percent of donations go directly to supporting our service projects around the world.

Our 35,000 clubs carry out sustainable service projects that support our six causes. With donations like yours, we’ve wiped out 99.9 percent of all polio cases. Your donation also trains future peacemakers, supports clean water, and strengthens local economies.

It can save a life. A child can be protected from polio with as little as 60 cents. Our partners make your donation go even further. For every $1 Rotary commits to polio eradication, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $2.
